It’s fun to run, and running with friends and family is even better! The Junior & Mini South Run, part of the Great South Run weekend, is a brilliant introduction to running events for kids.

Event Info
We had tonnes of fun at our Pompey Panto themed Junior & Mini Great South Run, and we’re already looking forward to more spectacular kids running action in 2022.
Entries are now open to the 2022 Junior and Mini Great South Run, which takes place on Saturday 15 October 2022.
The popular Junior (2.5km) & Mini (1.2km) events give the budding running stars of the future a taste of the big event experience and a chance to claim their own finisher’s medal. We’d love to see you on the start line!
Mini entrants (3-8 yrs) must run with a parent, each child should be entered into the event.
Junior (9-15 yrs) entrants do not need to be accompanied by an adult although this can be requested upon entry if required, each child should be entered into the event.
